Hull stretched their unbeaten away run to 16 to stop Swansea scoring vital points for promotion. Mark Gower powered home an incredible goal in the 63^rd minute to put the Swans ahead. However this then led to Hull to hull awakening and Corry Evans scoring the equaliser in the 70^th.

The tale of the first half was all about Swansea pushing the attack and testing Hulls defence. Nathan Dyer ran the Tigers ragged making some beautiful runs in and outside the box.  Dobbie and Borini both had chances either side of the net but pushed each shot respectively wide.

There was a big scramble after the ball came across the away teams goal line and Scott Sinclair did everything in his power to put the ball over but Hulls defence just prevailed (before looking like scoring an own goal) and cleared the ball to safety.

The Swans started the second half very slowly but eventually found their stride and produced more attacks. After Gower scored his belter, Hull came onto the attack and tested the home side.  Hull then looked the stronger of the two sides closer to the end of the game.

Swansea will feel they got off lightly as Norwich only managed a draw away at Watford. Cardiff however got the full 3 points away at Sheffield United. Promotion is still in talks as Swansea lie 4^th with 70 points just 2 points off 2^nd place Cardiff and 1 point off Norwich. Automatic promotion will be tough but not impossible but otherwise Swansea should be set for the playoffs and the road to Wembley.
