Hull stretched their unbeaten away run to 16 to stop Swansea scoring vital points for promotion. Mark Gower powered home an incredible goal in the 63rd minute to put the Swans ahead. However this then led to Hull to hull awakening and Corry Evans scoring the equaliser in the 70th. Read more »

Swansea City could only manage a draw at the Liberty stadium this week. Brendan Rodgers men cantered to a 1-1 result with Watford. Stephen Dobbie’s first half goal was cancelled out by championship top scorer, Danny Graham.

Swansea had wasted a good chance to gain some ground on championship leaders QPR and to increase the gap between them and local rivals Cardiff city, who both lost their midweek games. Read more »

Ospreys 37 - 6 Glasgow

Ospreys cemented their 2nd place in an important Magner’s League game as they ran in five tries against a weakened Glasgow side missing 16 players.

Adam Jones made a return from injury to give Wales a massive boost for the Six Nations. He had been ruled out of the six nations due to an elbow injury but has made a speedy recovery and is now available for the 12th March encounter in the Millennium Stadium against Ireland. Read more »

Welsh sports fans have been spoiled this weekend. On Friday, there was Wales vs England in the Six Nations rugby, a fascinating encounter even for a rugby novice such as myself.  Then there was the not-so-small matter of the South Wales derby on Sunday. This is a rivalry that begun almost 100 years ago, and has deep significance for both clubs. Some may even argue that the rivalry is based more on mutual hatred than respect.  One thing is for sure, sparks fly whenever these two sides meet. Read more »
